Ordering

How does the quote process work?

Upload your STL file, select material and layer height, and you'll see an instant price estimate based on the geometry of your part. When you place the order, we review the file manually and confirm the final price and lead time within one working day.

Is the instant price final?

The instant price is a calculated estimate based on material weight and infill. Because we slice every file manually, the confirmed price may differ slightly — typically within 10%. We confirm before proceeding.

What file format do you accept?

STL files for standard PLA/PETG quotes. For custom requests you can also send STEP, OBJ, 3MF, PDF drawings, or reference images.

I don't have a 3D file — where can I get one?

Free model libraries like Printables (printables.com) and MakerWorld (makerworld.com) host thousands of ready-to-print designs — download the STL and upload it here. We print consumer parts to the same standard as our industrial work. One thing to check: make sure the model's licence allows printing — most do, but avoid anything marked non-commercial or a trademarked/branded design.

What is the maximum part size?

Standard quotes support parts up to 300mm on any single axis. Larger parts require a Custom Request — we'll review build orientation and feasibility and quote manually.

Can I order multiple different parts in one order?

Yes. Add up to 5 components per order, each with its own STL, quantity, and layer height. All parts in one order must use the same material.

Pricing

How is the price calculated?

Price = estimated material weight (volume × 25% infill × material density) × price per gram. A 12% surcharge applies for Fine (0.1mm) layer height. For orders over 500g estimated weight, a bulk discount of ₹0.50/g is applied. All prices include 18% GST.

Why is there a minimum order amount?

Every print involves machine setup, slicing time, and quality checks regardless of part size. The minimum of ₹500 per component covers that overhead.

How much is delivery?

Standard delivery is free — we cover domestic shipping across India on every order. Choosing Rush adds 10% to your parts subtotal for prioritised, express turnaround. GST applies to the parts total.

Why does Fine layer height cost more?

Fine (0.1mm) layers take roughly 2× longer to print than Standard (0.2mm), increasing machine time and wear. The 12% surcharge reflects that.

Materials

What dimensional tolerance can I expect?

As a rule of thumb, ±0.2 mm or ±0.5% of the dimension, whichever is greater. Small features hold tighter; larger dimensions drift more because of thermal shrinkage, which is normal for FDM. Note that the 0.1 mm "Fine" setting is the layer height (vertical resolution) — not the dimensional tolerance. If your part has tight critical dimensions, tell us in the notes and we will advise on orientation and fit.

What is the difference between PLA and PETG?

PLA is rigid, dimensionally stable, and easy to post-process. Use it for prototypes, display models, enclosures, and jigs. PETG is tougher, chemically resistant, and slightly flexible — better for functional parts and assemblies that see real-world loads or chemical exposure.

What colours are available?

We currently stock White and Black for both PLA and PETG. If you need a different colour, use the Custom Request form.

What nozzle size do you use?

All orders currently print on a 0.4 mm nozzle — the best all-round balance of detail and speed. We are adding 0.2, 0.6, and 0.8 mm options (finer detail, or faster chunkier prints), but 0.4 mm is the only size available for now. Need a specific nozzle? Mention it in a Custom Request and we will tell you when we can do it.

Do you do post-processing?

Parts are delivered with support material removed and standard surface finish from the printer. Sanding, painting, or surface treatment is available on request — describe your requirements in the Custom Request form.

Lead Times & Delivery

How long does an order take?

We confirm your order within one working day of submission. Typical print and dispatch time is 2–4 working days after confirmation, depending on part size and queue.

Can I get my order faster?

Yes — choose Rush delivery when you configure your order. We push it to the front of the print queue and ship express, for a 10% premium on your parts subtotal. As with every order, the exact lead time is confirmed when we slice your file.

Where do you ship?

We ship across India with free standard delivery, via domestic courier (Delhivery, Blue Dart, or equivalent). Local pickup is also available in Vadodara, Gujarat.

How are files stored?

Your files are stored securely and used only to quote and produce your order. We never share them with third parties, and you can ask us to delete your files at any time.
